The name says it all to the owners: Vriend (Friend). And this Vriend has been very well cared for. She is very solidly built and has fine sailing characteristics. Like a true friend, she is reliable, forgiving of less experienced sailors, but very fast when the sails are properly trimmed. And there are certainly plenty of trimming options on this ship. She has a removable (carbon) bowsprit (prepared for gennaker sailing). She offers comfort and warmth with her interior. All in all, a very complete ship that is perfectly suited for long voyages on the open water.
